I recently posted about the top blogs in the world. Many of the blogs featured in that post are large publication scale blogs which are truly large and operated by a team of professional authors and web-masters. They publish number of articles and list top in the Alexa and other concerned ranks. I did receive a good response to that post but many people commented that a post on Indian blogs must also be published. I was working on this and today I have this post which features few of the top Indian bloggers.
Before I proceed with anything about the top Indian bloggers, I must tell you something important. I received a comment from a gentleman that, how I could have included news sites as blogs? I only understand that blogs are weblogs written by individuals or a team. Possibility of a blog ranking higher is more in case of a team behind it.
I just thought thy why not include few blogs or sites from India that have similar form of a large news site. I could figure out few really impressive large scale blogs maintained by a team, you may like to have a look.
OneIndia.in is a large online news site that does not have any external news medium like news paper or news channel. Sites belonging to large media channels always rank high but for a site like OneIndia.in it is not easy yo continuously rank within Alexa top 1000. This site is really an inspiration for people who want to set up online publications in India and someday be a part of a list of top most blogs of the world.
India.com is also an online news site that also provides email accounts for free.
Now let us move ahead to find out the topmost India blogs and bloggers. For our readers to understand that the list is not prepared to give a ranking in an order but based on the SEMrush rank of the blogs as of May 2013. The success and most specifically the monetary success of a blog depends on the traffic it receives from search engines and thus SEMRush rank is important. In most of the cases SEMrush rank can give an idea of the earning potential of a blog. Though we will be analyzing the earning of these blogs with a tools but we must understand that the actual earning may vary by large difference as they depend on various factors.
A blog I visit frequently had recently published about the earning reports of few Indian bloggers. This is a good work but the actual figures might have changed as the reports are from old posts.
Top most Indian bloggers
Now when we have reached the listing I must specify that the blogs I have included are based on my personal observation and as you would agree that it is not possible that we come across to every good Indian blog on the web.
I do not need to say much about Amit Agarwal as he is already the most famous of Indian bloggers. The significant stuff about Amit Agarwal is that his blog Labnol.org has unbelievable search engine command and even competes with large news sites too. This blog also has PR6 which is too good for a blog and really difficult to achieve, Very rarely you would find a PR6 blog. I must also admit that a blog that came across once has PR6 and it is PCdrome.com by Anurag Choudhari
Coming back to Labnol.org, the earnings according to my persona research the earning can be anything to the tune of U.S. $ 50K, if its is certainly not bad but also see the efforts this blogger has done since 2004 and the quality of stuff he has produced in more that 6000 blog posts.
Whenever I came across to Fonearena.com I always though that this site is operated by some large company because it was publishing about nearly all gadgets and phone launched, later I acme to know that this blog is a team blog maintained by Varun Krishnan. This blog is a top gadget blog in India with high income potential that we analyze as U.S $ 20K to 25K.
Savedelete.com is publishing about technology, internet etc. and the earnings are expected to be approximately $ 10k to 15K.
QuickOnlineTips.com is also high search engine impact blog.with potential income around $ 10k.
Now I am really tired of working out the approximate income but below are few blogs that make approximately around U.S. $ 5000 to 10000
This list also includes Harsh Agarwal of ShoutMeLoud.org. I personally love this blog and like the way Harsh has developed this blog. Many people on the web believe that Shoutmeloud.com is the second largest individual blog in India that earns money but I can really tell you that this blogger operates a revenue sharing plan that allows using personal AdSense code in guest post, Is not this interesting ?
